Obrycki’s Crab House is now closed
In December of 2010, we announced that we would be closing at the end of the crab season in 2011.
We felt that since we have deep roots in Baltimore, we owed it to our customers and co-workers to not do what just about every other restaurant does. . . close over night. Almost a year’s notice has allowed everyone to plan ahead; customers came in and used up their gift cards and scheduled their last visit to have one last last great meal. Co-workers also had lots of time to plan for their future after we closed. That day finally arrived on Saturday November 5th, which was the last night open at our flagship restaurant in Fells Point, Baltimore.
Although we have a lot of history in this location, and acknowledge that it has been very good to us, all good things come to an end. We feel that by focusing on smaller locations, that are open year ‘round, this is the best way for us to continue the Obrycki’s tradition . . . hopefully for the next 67 years.
MAIL ORDER CRABS
We are pleased to announce that we have entered into a partnership with Harbour House Crabs to resume shipping our steamed crabs.
Although it took us a long time to find the right partner, we are comfortable that you will find the quality and service provided by Harbour House Crabs to be top notch.
Harbour House Crabs has been in business since 2001 and shipping steamed crabs since 2002. During this time they have established themselves as a leader in the mail order crab business, and the ONLY company that we would trust with our recipes and our customers.
Click on their logo below, and when ordering crabs, be sure to select "Obrycki’s Seasoning" when given the choice. Keep in mind that Obrycki’s Seafood Seasoning is a black pepper based seasoning that does not have rock salt in it. It has a hotter spiciness than most red crab seasonings, but is less salty. As we like to say "you’ll go through the same amount of beer, but for different reasons!"
Harbour House Crabs will continue selling their own red seasoning on steamed crabs, as well as our seasoning. Unfortunately, you can’t order one order with two different types of seasoning in the same order, but now, you already have a reason to order again!

NOW OPEN
Obrycki’s "A" Bar is now open on Concourse A at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport. This small location features beer, wine and cocktails along with a small plate menu. This relaxing and fun oasis for the traveller is unlike anything currently at BWI, and is surely worth the visit.
